The Vi king In sti tu tional Style Quick Re -
sponse Flush Hor i zon tal Side wall Sprin -
kler is a small, flush, sol der link and le ver
sprin kler made with tam per-re sis tant
con struc tion. This in sti tu tional style
sprin kler has been spe cif i cally de signed
for use with con cealed pip ing in in sti tu -
tional men tal health oc cu pan cies, cor -
rec tional fa cil i ties, or any where a like li -
hood of tam per ing with fire sprin klers by
the oc cu pants may ex ist.
The Vi king In sti tu tional Style Quick Re -
sponse Hor i zon tal Side wall Sprin kler
as sem bly con sists of the sprin kler body,
lockring, and a 3-1/4" (82,6 mm) di am e -
ter thread-on es cutch eon plate. The
sprin kler and es cutch eon plate have a
chrome fin ish.
Tests sim u lat ing con di tions of mis use
dem on strate the fus ible el e ment as -
sem bly con sis tently breaks away when
con nected to a 40 lb. weight dropped six
inches†.
