Behaviour when mulching
•
The appliance is to be thoroughly inspec-

•
Never stand in front of the ejector
either when the motor is switched on or
when working. There must be no mul-

switched on.
•
Do not operate the machine on a paved
or gravel surface where
ejected material could cause injury.
•
Never put your face over the filling hop-

place your hand in the filling hopper or
the ejector slot while the appliance is run-

eyes, face and hands.

•
When filling the mulcher take great care

enter the mulch chamber, as this can
lead to damage, and back-firing through
the filling hopper. Blockages must be
cleared for the same reason.
•
Do not allow processed material to build
up in the discharge zone: this may pre-
vent proper discharge and can result in a
kickback of material through the feed
intake opening.
