Troubleshooting
Troubleshooting
Refrigerator runs too frequently
Condenser coils are dirty. Controls
need to be adjusted. Door is not
closing properly.
Clean coils. See page 24. See page
5 to adjust controls. Check for
internal obstructions that are keep
ing door from closing properly.
Refrigerator is not level. See Installa-
tion Instructions for details on how
to level refrigerator. Check gaskets
for proper seal, clean if necessary.

Plastic tubing was used for water
connection.
Improper water valve installed.
The manufacturer recommends
using copper tubing. Plastic is less
durable and can cause leakage*.
Check water connection procedure
in Installation Instructions. Self-
piercing and 3/16” saddle valves
cause low water pressure and may
clog the line over time.*
Ice forms in inlet tube to ice
maker
Water pressure is low.
Freezer temperature is too high
Water pressure must be between 35-
100 pounds per square inch. A
minimum pressure of 35 pounds per
square inch is recommended for
refrigerators with water filters.
Adjust freezer controls. Freezer is
recommended to be appproximately
0°F (-18°C)

Water filter is clogged or needs to
be changed.
Turn off water supply and remove
kinks. If kinks cannot be removed,
replace tubing.
