BEFORE USE
1. Remove the kettle and power base of all packaging materials and dispose of them in order to not
fall into the hands of children (choking hazard). But do not remove the labels attached to the bottom
of the kettle and to the bottom of the base.
2. Ensure that power supply voltage of the kettle corresponds to your power grid.
3. Before using the kettle for the first time, fill it to the MAX mark with water and boil. Pour out boiled
water and repeat three times. After the third time, the kettle is ready to use.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. During filling always first remove the kettle from the power base.
2. Lift the lid.
3. Fill the kettle between the MIN (0,5 l) and MAX (1,7 l) marks with cold water.
4. Close the lid and return kettle to the power base.
BEFORE THE BOILING, MAKE SURE THAT THE LID IS FIRMLY CLOSED.
5. Plug the power base into an active power socket.
6. Start the boiling by pushing the switch to lower position. Power indicator will light up.
7. Kettle will turn automatically off when the water is boiled.
8. Boiling can be interrupted at any time by moving the switch up.
9. If you accidentally turn on the kettle without water, or all the water boils away, the protection is
activated. In this case wait 15 minutes before reusing the kettle.
FILTER
The built-in filter serves to stop any residues from entering the beverage. This filter is not able to
remove the calcium dissolved in the water.
CLEANING
1. Before storing or cleaning the kettle, always disconnect the power supply and let the kettle to cool
completely.
2. Never immerse any part of the power cord, plug, power base or kettle into any liquid.
Do not wash the kettle in the dishwasher.
3. Clean the outside of the kettle with a damp cloth. Carefully dry the entire kettle.
Do not clean with strong chemicals or abrasives as they can damage the surface of the kettle.
4. After some time limescale may appear in the kettle. Remove the limescale according to your need
(usually 2-3 times a year). If the appliance automatically switches off even before the water boils, it
indicates that you must remove limescale.
Limescale can be removed by using following methods:
Vinegar: Fill the kettle with half a liter of vinegar and let it to stand for about half an hour. Do not boil
vinegar! Once this period is over, empty the kettle and rinse it several times with water.
Citric acid: boil half a liter of water and then add to it 25 g of citric acid. Let the kettle stand for about
fifteen minutes. Empty the kettle and rinse several times with water.
Cleaners for limestone meant for other devices may damage the kettle.
Do not clean inside of the kettle with abrasive materials or solvents.
