■ For connecting the DHW side, observe
DIN 1988 and DIN 4753.
■ Connect all pipework with detachable
fittings.
■ Safety valve (accessory)
– Equip the system with a type-tested
safety valve as protection against
excessive pressure.
– Permissible operating pressure
6 bar.
– Install the safety valve in the cold
water line (see figure below).
– It must not be able to be isolated
from the DHW cylinder.
– The pipework between the safety
valve and the DHW cylinder must
not be restricted in any way.
– Never seal off the discharge pipe.
Expelled water should be safely and
visibly drained into a sewer. Place a
sign on the safety valve with the
inscription:
For safety reasons, water may be
discharged from the discharge
pipe during heating. Never seal
off.

Information on the immersion heater (if installed)
We recommend installing an immersion
heater on site to protect the DHW cylin-
der against frost according to
DIN EN 60335-1 (VDE 0700-1) or
VDE 0700-253 and appropriate country-
specific standards.
