Creating SMS templates on the mobile phone
It is advisable to save the SMS commands as tem-
plates on your mobile phone. This allows the relevant
SMS commands to be sent while away, quickly and at
any time, without referring to the operating instructions.
Important information
On your mobile phone, create at least one SMS tem-
plate that also includes the current access code. This
allows you to get hold of the access code at any time,
should you forget it.
When changing the access code (see page 15),
always update the SMS templates with the new access
code.

Changing the access code
The access code prevents misuse and is specific to
the Vitocom 100, regardless of the SIM card used.
The 4-digit access code is preset to
"1111"
in the
delivered condition.
The access code must be specified at the beginning of
every SMS to the Vitocom 100.
The Vitocom 100 accepts only codes comprising 4 dig-
its. Longer entries will automatically be trimmed.
Only numbers 0 to 9 can be used for each digit.
Note
Always ensure that the SMS templates in your mobile
phone are also altered to include the new access
code.
