Parallel connection
Connecting the V-Tap PRI parallel to the line has the advantage that the
ISDN line keeps on functioning when the V-Tap is disconnected. So, no
interruption of the line takes place when the V-Tap is removed.
Only one ISDN jack needs to be connected to the line. Using the IN- or
OUT-jack in this case, does not matter. This way of connecting is only
possible for Sniff mode.
Parallel connection must be made using a normal 3-way splitter (one-to-
one T-splitter):

In-Line connection
Connecting the V-Tap PRI as In-Line is an option for Sniff mode (listener)
but is mandatory when Pass-Through mode is selected with the jumpers.
The advantage of connecting In-Line is, that the V-Tap cannot be
removed without notice, because the ISDN line will be interrupted when
doing so. In-Line connection is shown below:
