3.5 In-Line mode (pass through mode)
In-Line mode determines whether the Call Recorder can take control of
the telephone lines. This is required for instance to be able to play a
recording notification at the start or during a call.
•
Press CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE to select ON ON ON ON or OFF OFF OFF OFF.
•
Default the In-Line mode is set to OFF. OFF. OFF. OFF.
•
Press NEXT NEXT NEXT NEXT to continue in the menu with the n n n notification otification otification otification setting
or press STOP STOP STOP STOP to exit the configuration configuration configuration configuration menu.
3.6 Notification
Notification can be with a spoken message at the beginning of the call
or at the moment the recording is started. A notification message could
be for example: “For security reasons our calls are being recorded”.
Following the In-Line mode setting as described above
•
Press CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE CHANGE to change Notification method. Select one of the
following options:

Incoming
•
Outgoing
•
Always
•
Off
These options work as follows:
When "IIIIncoming
ncoming ncoming ncoming" is selected the message will be played when an
incoming call is answered.
When "Outgoing
Outgoing Outgoing
Outgoing" is selected the message will be played when an
outgoing call is answered.
When "Always
Always Always
Always" is selected the message is played on both incoming and
outgoing calls.
Notification: Off

In-Line mode: Off
NEXT CHANGE STOP
