The following is therefore necessary:

1. key in the old password (if the password does not exist, the field must be left empty)

2. key in the new password

3. key in the new password again to make sure it was keyed in properly the first time

Confirm by clicking on the "OK" button. The next time the program is launched the new program will be 
requested.

Note that to disable the password it is sufficient to insert a new empty password.

Set language

The program gives a choice of languages from the user interface. To set the required language, select the 
"Language" option from the menu and then click on the language required (see figure 11).

8.2.3.3

Selection of the serial communication port

One of the features of the software setup is that the data contained in the configuration file is transmitted to
the matrix through the serial port. The program uses serial port COM 1 by default. It is however possible to
change its setting:

1. Select the option "Preferences>COM Port" from the main menu

2. A linked menu containing the list of serial ports will appear. Select the required port.

3. A tick will indicate the serial port is being used.
