Vi-A12 Distribution Amplifier
1 Overview
The Vi-A12 Distribution amplifier accepts 1,2,3 or 4 video inputs identified as A, B, C and D. Each
input has associated amplifiers that drive three video outputs:-
•
Input A drives outputs A1, A2 and A3.
•
Input B drives outputs B1, B2, and B3.
•
Input C drives outputs C1, C2, and C3.
•
Input D drives outputs D1, D2, and D3.
Each section is completely separate and may be used for the same or different video sources.
Configuration switches on the underside of the unit make this a very flexible product.
Configuration switches allow inputs to be linked so that three, six, nine or twelve outputs can be
driven from a single video input.
Termination on each input can be switched. If inputs are linked, termination should be off on all but
one of the linked inputs.
When inputs are linked, the input connectors that are not being used for the video input may be
used for loop-through, for example to gang units. If such loop-though is required, termination
should be off on all inputs.
