Pairing the detector

Using a programmed alphanumeric keypad, access to level 4.

To unlock and get access to the installer level 4, you need to successively enter TWO
codes (in any order) :
• INSTALLER CODE (entered during intial programming)
• USER CODE (Level3): the user must authorize the installer to get access to the
configuration of his panel.

Once in level 4, proceed through the menu to reach ADD A NEW DEVICE.

Loosen the bottom screw and separate the base from the IDC . Install 1 Duracell CR123
3V Lithium battery, observing correct polarity. Press and release the program button
on the IDC using your finger or a screw driver. The IDC red LED will flash until it is paired
with the panel.

When linked with the panel, the keypad will display :
The IDC is now paired with your Videofied
®
panel. It now needs to be configured and tested.
