After having checked that nothing fails in the
packaging, put the machine in the place fore-
seen and pay attention that it is level by adju-
sting the pins. If the extension pins are fore-
seen, the assembling will be carried out by
untwisting completely the pin and twisting it
back again on the metal insert supplied with
the extension, then put the cylindrical shell
made of plastic on the insert.
Then twist the levers' arms that are on the
respective supply groups.
Place the softener in the space foreseen. We
remind that for the VICTORIA ARDUINO
ATHENA LEVA does not have a pump, the
pressure that is necessary for the coffee sup-
ply is gained by the lever group, so the con-
nections' operations are quite simplified.
the pump is built-in the machine itself, so the faste-
ning operations will be extremely simplified.
We advice to avoid narrowing in the tubes, to
pay attention to the unloading and to use an
electric cable of equal section, if the one sup-
plied is not enough.
The machine must always be protected with an
automatic switch of adequate power.
It is advisable to fit a pressure reducer between the
machine and the water mains. This piece, which is
supplied with the machine, serves to guarantee the
correct pressure level of the water entering the
machine. The inlet pressure for the coffee machi-
ne should be approximately 2 bar.

STARTING
Even if all the machines VICTORIA ARDUINO
have an automatic level, it's good rule, in the
initial phase, to fill the boiler manually to avoid
that the electric resistance is damaged and the
electronic safety is connected (this one stucks
the machine if the self-level is inserted more
than 90 seconds. If this happens it is anyway
enough to switch the machine off and then
switch it on again, to complete the boiler's loa-
ding)
Removing the grill and the worktop drip tray it
is possible to operate on the hydraulic circuit of
the machine (see picture).
The entrance machine tap 1 must always be
turned open after the connection to the machi-
ne's net has been carried out.
