By default, the internal drive(s), typically, the operating system drive
“C”, will be listed. Only the VN-SAN RAID drives should be used for
storage. The C drive must be deleted from the storage database.
However, you must add at least one drive to the storage database
prior to deleting the internal drive.

If any other internal drive is listed, contact Vicon Technical Support,
as this indicates a problem has occurred with the system
configuration.
4. Click Add Disk . The Storage Disk Parameters dialog box will
populate, and display the available drives on the NVR and the VN-
SAN unit (if any were previously added). Use the
Select Disk
dropdown to select a drive to add from the VN-SAN unit.
5. Select a VN-SAN drive to add and set the Directory Size to the size
required. Typically this is the maximum size of the drive. Click Apply.
