loosening the four (4) captive screws on the front
panel of the card cage (Figure l-l) and removing

Plug the 25-pin D-shell connector on one end of the

connector adapter (supplied) into

Select a 34-conductor ribbon cable with a 37-pin
D-shell connector on one end and a 34-pin rectan-
gular connector on the other end to connect the

adapter in the next step. Note

the location of the locking screw as shown in
Figure 2-13, step B. Also note the red stripe on
the bottom edge of the ribbon cable.

Route the ribbon cable to the DL. Make sure there
are no sharp bends in the cable.

6.

Connect the cable from the CPU to the DL-INPUT
connector

as shown in Figure 2-12.

7.

Select a 34-conductor ribbon cable with a 37-pin
D-shell connector on one end and a 34-pin rectan-
gular connector on the other end to connect the DL
to the

Plug the 37-pin D-shell connector on one end of the

selected ribbon cable into one of the the

DL-OUTPUT connectors (Figure 2-12).

9.

Route the cable to the first
