Standalone Configuration System

Star Configuration

When multiple domes are connected in a star configuration, using a V1400X-IDL, a cable assembly that
includes the RS-232/RS-422 Interface Converter is used, part number 1251-3555-01. In this configuration,
connect the converter end of the assembly to the COM 1 (SERIAL) port of the computer and the other end to
the CPU/J11 port on the V1400X-IDL (you may have to disconnect the keypad). See following figure.
