2 Setting up Your CT-X
Injecting signals
Based off the cable length, tap, and rated combiner loss, we expect there to be around
16 dB of loss between the CT-X and where we are measuring. From this, the following
parameters are calculated:

The CT-X was configured to transmit in Setup mode and the output was configured
as chosen above. Once the configuration was applied, the level of each signal was
measured and compared to the values we wanted to see:
The levels were slightly off, so we calculated the error and adjusted the CT-X to
compensate for the difference. Upon remeasuring, the signals were at the desired level.
