Field Description
Raw Cell Queue Current Number of bursts currently in the reassembly queue
HiWater Highest number of cells that have been in queue
Max Maximum number of cells that are allowed in queue
HiWater Reached Number of times that the maximum allowed number of cells in the
queue has been reached since last time this statistics was cleared
VCI=Out-of-Range-(0 to ffff): How many bursts were received that were not in the VCI
identification range set by the ’cdbm_algo_set_vci_min’ and
‘cdbm_algo_set_vci_max’ commands
VCI=nnn.nnn Virtual Circuit Identification number of VMT in network as last two
octets of the VMT satellite IP address
Good Total number of good packets reassembled for a particular VCI
Rej. (Tot) Total number of packets rejected by the M&C because of reassembly
errors
Rej. (SE) Number of packets rejected by the M&C because Start ATM cell was
received out of order
Rej. (ME) Number of packets rejected by the M&C because Middle ATM cell was
received out of order
Rej. (E) Number of packets rejected by the M&C because End ATM cell was
received out of order
Rej. (PTI) Number of packets rejected by the M&C because PTI bit in the last
ATM cell was not correct
Bad CRCs Number of packets rejected by the M&C because cyclic redundancy
check errors
Timeouts Number of packets rejected by the M&C because they were started,
but not completed in allocated time
Too Long Number of packets rejected by the M&C because the IP packet length
in the ATM cell header was greater than the MTU (1500) of the
satellite return channel

5.10.7.3.8 MCD ‘memShow’ Command
Figure 5-33 shows a typical response to the ‘memShow’ command. The
most useful parameter is the amount of currently free memory under
the bytes column. The free memory left should stay at the same level
over time. For additional information, refer to VxWorks documentation.
