Battery (03_10)

To access the battery it is necessary to remove the LHS cowling. The battery is the
electrical device which requires the most frequent inspections and meticulous main-
tenance.

CAUTION

IN ORDER TO AVOID DAMAGING THE ELECTRIC SYSTEM, NEVER DISCON-
NECT THE WIRING WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING. DO NOT TIP THE VEHICLE
TOO MUCH IN ORDER TO AVOID DANGEROUS LEAKAGE OF THE BATTERY
