The appliance has the built-in amortization system that blocks the
blades rotation when obstacle. When the obstacle is removed,
the blades will start to rotate again. Frequent blocking should be
avoided to avoid damage to the appliance.
CARE AND CLEANING
To safely take care of your fan, please remember to follow these
instructions below:
• always switch the appliance off and unplug from the mains, allow
the blade to stop completely before cleaning the fan.
• do not allow water to drip on, or enter into the fan housing.
• always use a soft wet cloth to clean the body and the blades.
• do not use any of the following agents as a cleaner: Gasoline,
Thinners, or Benzene.
• in case of malfunction or doubt, do not try to repair the fan
yourself, it may result in a fire hazard or electric shock
• clean the fan blades, housing and base with a soft damp cloth.
Please use caution around housing area. Do not allow the motor, or
other electrical components to be exposed to water.
• when storing your fan in the off-season, it is important to keep
it in a safe dry location away from kids. Protect the fan head from
any dust.
GENERAL PRECAUTIONS
• the appliance is for home use only. Do not use for commercial
purpose. • read all the instruction manual before the first operating
and save it. • before the first operating make sure that the voltage in
your wall outlet is the same as on the appliance’s rating label marked.
• keep the power cord and plug always clean and dry. • the fan cord
must not be placed under carpets, or covered with throw rugs, runners
or similar. Arrange the cord away from the traffic area, and where it
will not be tripped over. • if the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the authorized service centre. • to unplug the appliance do
not pull the power cord. Grasp the plug with the dry hand firmly and
pull out of the outlet. • do not operate the appliance with a damaged
cord or plug, or after the fan malfunctions, or has been dropped, or
damaged in any manner. • to avoid the electrical shock and appliance
damage, do not insert any object into the openings of the appliance.
• WARNING: do not use this appliance near the water. Do not use this
appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing
water. • never immerse the working head, cord and plug into water. • if
the appliance fell down into water, unplug it immediately. Wait for some
minutes before taking the appliance out of the water. Do not use the
appliance! Please take it to the authorized service center for checking.
• do not use the appliance with wet hands. • do not use the appliance
on a damp floor. • do not use the appliance with the damaged wall
outlet. • any examination, repair or adjustment must be done in an
authorized Service Center.
Do not repair the appliance by yourself!
If the opening of the appliance is detected, the appliance's
guarantee will be canceled.
• do not use the appliance near or on
the hot surfaces. • do not let the cord hang over the edge of the
table or touch any hot surfaces. • always unplug the appliance when
not in use and before cleaning. • do not let children play or use the
appliance. • give a high attention when the appliance is being used
near the children. • use the appliance only for it’s direct purpose
• do not expose the appliance to fall down or to be kicked. • do not use
any abrasive, chemical, alcohol-contained cleaners and hard brushes
for cleaning the appliance. • while using the appliance, please, observe
the safety precautions. • do not cover the appliance when working. •
incorrect operation and improper handing can lead to malfunctions of
the appliance and injuries to the user. • to avoid mechanical danger
when in use, do not insert, or allow fingers, or any other objects into
the appliance. Do not block the air-intakes or the exhaust openings
in any manner. • if the appliance has been used with infringement
of guide’s instructions, the appliance’s guarantee would be canceled
and consumer would repair the appliance at his/her expense.
• this
appliance is not intended for use by person (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
