BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove the appliance from the package. Do not leave the pack-
ing (plastic bags, polystyrene etc.) within the reach of children since
they could be dangerous. Clean the appliance with wet soft cloth and
wipe dry.
Before the first operating make sure that the voltage in your wall
outlet is the same as on the appliance’s rating label marked.
OPERATING
Before use preheat the appliance. Plug the power cord into the power
outlet. The pilot light indicator will light up. Wait for 3-4 minutes. Once
the appliance is ready, the ready light indicator will light up.
Note:
From time to time the ready light indicator goes off and on as
the appliance maintains baking temperature.
Apply a thin layer of oil (vegetable, margarine or butter) with the soft
brush or sponge onto the heating plates. After this initial coating of
oil you will not need to repeat this process every time as the dough
will leave the coating of oil behind.
Note:
During first use there can be an easy smoke. This is normal
because of the initial heating of the internal components.
- Open the appliance. Place the dough inside the hollows of the lower
heating plate (you can use any dough). If the dough is semi-liquid fill
the hollows of the heating plates on about 2/3.
- Carefully cloth the appliance lid and fix the latch.
Note:
It is not recommended to open the lid while baking as this can
affect the cooking result of the pastries.
- Allow the pastries bake for about 8-10 minutes before opening. Open
the lid and check the pastries. Use plastic or wooden utensils to lift
the pastries. Do not use metal utensils as they will damage the non-
stick surface.
Note:
If the pastries are insufficiently baked, it is necessary to increase
time of baking. Watch the appliance closely to avoid pastries burn-
ing.
Note:
During baking steam will escape from the baking pies and may
emit a whistling sound. Do not bring your hands or other parts of
body close to the steam.
Baking semi-liquid dough requires special attention. To check the pas-
tries readiness use a match. If a match comes out with the dough on
it, then the pastry is not done yet.
- Unplug the appliance.
USING OF ACCESSORIES
Use the forming ring to cut the tops and bases of the pastries. The
small forming ring being for the top and bigger for the base of the
pastries. Roll out the dough. To cut dough position the forming ring
on a flat sheet of dough and cut by pressing down the forming ring
into the dough.
Put the bases made from the dough into the hollows of the lower
heating plate and put the filling inside. Then place the top you made
