Viewing the packet data counter
General packet radio service (GPRS) is a network service that
allows mobile phones to send and receive data over an Internet
protocol (IP)-based network. See “Packet data settings” on
page 38 for more information.
To view approximate information about the volume of data sent and
received via GPRS:
1. From the stand-by display, press M e n u

2. The following information will be available for examination:
S e n t i n l a s t s e s s i o n
is the amount of data in bytes, sent in the
last transmission
R e c e i v e d i n l a s t s e s s . is the amount of data in bytes, received
in the last transmission
A l l s e n t d a t a
is the total amount of data in bytes, sent in all
transmissions
A l l re c e i v e d d a t a
is the total amount of data in bytes, received in
all transmissions
3. C l e a r c o u n t e r s resets all of the counters. It will be necessary to
enter your security code to complete this operation. See
“SECURITY” on page 13.
Viewing the data timer
To view approximate information about the duration of sessions over
GPRS:
1. From the stand-by display, press M e n u

2. The following information will be available:

shows the length of time spent on the
last session
D u r a t i o n o f a l l s e s s . shows the combined length of time spent
on all sessions
3. C l e a r t i m e r s resets all of the timers. It will be necessary to enter
your security code to complete this operation. See “SECURITY” on
page 13.
Viewing the message log
To view details of messages that have been sent and received by
your Vertu phone:

Viewing the sync log
Sync log shows statistics on data you have transferred while
synchronising your Vertu phone.
To view the sync log, from the stand-by display, press M e n u
