Base Station Installation
Operation of the
VX-4600CB
from an AC line requires a power source capable
of providing at least 10 Amps continuously at 13.6 Volts DC. The

Power Supplies are available from your Vertex Standard dealer to satisfy these
requirements. Other well-regulated power supplies may be used, as well, if they
meet the above voltage and current specifications.
Use the supplied DC power cable for making power connections to the power
supply. Connect the
RED
power cable lead to the
POSITIVE
(+) power supply
terminal, and connect the
BLACK
power cable lead to the
NEGATIVE
(–) power
supply terminal.
