Place the mesh and grille on the top of the Radiance stove 

to complete assembly.

Install the Safety Barrier

A barrier designed to reduce the risk of burns 

from the hot viewing glass is provided with this 

appliance and shall be installed for the protection of 

children and other at risk individuals. If the barrier 

becomes damaged, the barrier shall be replaced with 

the manufacturer's barrier for this appliance.* Any 

safety screen, guard, or barrier removed for servicing 

the appliance must be replaced prior to operating the 

appliance.

ARRIER

The safety barrier has been designed to work with the 

doors open or closed. 
1.  Remove screen from packaging.
2.    Place the two bottom hooks over the bottom edge of 

the stove opening Figure 55

3.    Press the screen against the stove snapping the two 

spring fingers until the screen fits securely in place. 

NOTICE: It is the responsibility of the installer to ensure 

the barrier is affixed to the fireplace at the time of instal

-

lation.

WARNING

: The safety screen barrier 

must be installed after the glass front is 

in place. It is NOT a replacement for the 

glass and the unit must
