4.3.2 Changing drive function
If the SE09 console is installed on an electronic wheelchair with stand-up function, only one
speed setting is possible.
The wheelchair's speed functions can be operated using the function selection button. There are
two available drive functions.
Press the function selection button to select the drive function.
The selected drive function is indicated by the walk function indicator and the number of LED’s
on the speed indicator (maximum 2).
The maximum driving speed by maximal deflection of the joystick depends on the selected drive
function.
4.3.3 Limited driving speed
For your safety, the driving speed of your wheelchair will be automatically reduced when certain
body position alterations have been made. The drive of the wheelchair is then limited to the lowest
speed setting, or even becomes completely blocked.

Driving and speed limitations occur when:
the lift has been adjusted to a higher position. Only speed setting 1 is available.
the backrest inclination exceeds a certain angle (see Figure 3):
1. All functions of your wheelchair are available.
2. Only speed setting 1 is available.
3. Driving your wheelchair is no longer possible. Raise the backrest until the block is
lifted.
To notify the user that all driving is inhibited, the drive wheel LED on the actuator status indicator
slowly pulses on and off, as well as the LED referring to the adjustment that causes the block.
The LED's pulse for the duration of driving or adjusting function demand.
E.g. Figure 4: The backrest and drive wheel LED’s on the indicator are pulsing. This means
that the backrest inclination is too large, causing driving inhibition.
To lift the speed/driving limitations, lower the lift to standard (lowest) position, and adjust your
seat and backrest to upright sitting position.
If the SE09 console is installed on an electronic wheelchair with stand-up function, driving
limitations only occur when the SU function is used.
