LOAD LIMITER DESCRIPTION WITH DRAWING
Definition of adjustment between 10 and 15% of the nominal load.
Your hoist is equipped with an overload switch. This switch will protect your hoist against
any accidental overload.
This switch is adjusted in the factory to about 10% of the nominal load, but the adjustment
can be refined using screw (5).
Release nut (6) and unscrew screw (5) to reduce the value of the overload; turn the screw
in the opposite direction to increase it.
The adjustment is right when the load plus the overload lift a few centimeters off the
ground at low speed and the hoist then switches itself off electrically.
It is essential that the load limiter is shunted during dynamic and static tests, so that it is
not operational.
The user must not modify the setting of the limiter.
Put the protective cover
i
back in place after doing any work.
