15.5 Out-of-Range Detection

If the Handset detects an out-of-range

condition, it will start searching for the

Base and display the following screen:

After the Handset ﬁnds the Base, the

Handset will display the Standby screen.

If the Handset cannot ﬁnd the Base, the

Handset will emit an error tone and display

an “Out of range” message. The user

should then move closer to the Base until

the Handset is within range again:
