GROUP CALL
Make or receive a group call with up to 50 participants at the same time.
You can only make or receive a
Barge Call for a group call.
PTT CALLING BASICS
1
. To talk, press and hold the PTT Key .
2
. To let the other party talk, release the PTT Key .
3
. To end a call, press the END Key. Inactivity for 10 seconds will
automatically end the PTT connection.
Only one person can talk at a time.
MAKING A BARGE PTT CALL
CALL FROM PTT CONTACT LIST

. Press the PTT Key to access the PTT Contact List .

. Scroll to the contact you want to call.

. Press and hold the PTT Key and begin to speak. The Barge tone
will sound and Talking to will appear on the display. Release the
PTT Key to listen to the other party.
4
. Press the END Key to end the call.
CALL TO GROUP
1
. Press the PTT Key to access the PTT Contact List .

. Scroll to the group you want to call.

. Press and hold the PTT Key and begin to speak. The Barge tone
will sound and Talking to will appear on the display. Release the
PTT Key to listen to the other party.
4
. Press the END Key to end the call.
Only one person can speak at a time during a group call.
CALL FROM KEYPAD

. Enter the 10-digit wireless number of the Verizon Wireless PTT
subscriber you want to contact.

. Press and hold the PTT Key and begin to speak. The Barge tone
will sound and Talking to will appear on the display. Release the
PTT Key to listen to the other party.

. The contact name will replace the wireless number you entered on
the display if you called a person in your PTT contact list.

. Press the PTT Key to access the PTT Contact List .

. Scroll to the contact you want to call.

. Press the Left Soft Key [ Alert ].

. To alert, press the PTT Key . The PTT Outgoing Alert tone will
sound and Alerting will appear on the display. The Listening to
screen appears when the called party answers the alert and you will
hear the called party speaking. The
Unavailable screen appears if
the called party chooses to ignore the alert or is unavailable to accept
the PTT call. The
Floor Available tone will sound and Connected
will appear on the display when the called party is finished speaking.

. Press the END Key to end the call.
CALL FROM KEYPAD
1
. Enter the 10-digit wireless number of the Verizon Wireless PTT
subscriber to alert.

. Press the Left Soft Key [ Alert ].

. Press and release the PTT Key to alert the individual. The PTT
Outgoing Alert will sound and Alerting appears on the display.

. Press and hold the PTT Key to speak and release to listen.
The
Listening to screen appears if the called party answers the
alert and you will hear the called party speaking. The Unavailable
appears if the called party chooses to ignore the alert or is
unavailable to accept a PTT call. The
Floor Available tone sounds
and the Connected screen appears when the called party is finished
speaking.

. Press the END Key to end the call.
RECEIVING A PTT CALL
RECEIVING A BARGE CALL
The Barge tone sounds when you receive a barge call. You will then hear the calling
party speaking. The contact name will display if the calling party’s number is saved
in your
PTT Contact List . Otherwise, the calling party’s phone number will appear
on your display.
