Removing an
iPod/iPhone into
the e315
You need an iPod 5 or iPhone 5 to perform any payment transaction, synchronize
data, and download applications.
To install an iPod or
iPhone into the e315
To be able to fit the iPhone or iPod, you need to remove the top part of the e315
casing.

Remove the screw located on top of the e315 just beside the 2D barcode
scanner.

Hook your finger under the notch and lift up to remove the casing. You can
also use a flat head screwdriver or a similar tool.
You can now proceed to install the iPod or iPhone.
Installing an iPhone 5 into the e315

Hold and secure the e315 with the PIN pad facing down.

Align the port at the bottom of the iPhone with the Lightning connector on the
e315 then, gently but firmly push the e315 down until it sits firmly.
If you are using an iPod, use the spacer to fill the gap between the e315 and
the iPod and to ensure a tight fit.
