For light-duty applications in clean environments only: If the grease fitting is not accessible or not present (older design), you can apply the lubricant directly
on the shaft using a clean cloth. Ensure that 100% of the shaft surface is covered with a thin layer of lubricant, then cycle the bearing along the shaft several
times to ensure proper application and distribution. Do not leave a heavy film of lubricant on the shaft. Keep the shaft barely damp with lubricant.
