Wi-Fi Rapid Deployment Kit with Battery Backup System
For Aruba Access Points
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR THE UPS ENCLOSURE:
1) Unscrew the IP66 cover from the EO/PoE Port on the Aruba Access Point.
2) Connect one of the 15’ CAT5e cable included in the kit to the EO/PoE port on the Aruba Access Point.
3) Connect the other end of the 15’ CAT5e cable included in the kit to the PoE output of the power enclosure.
4) Use the Velcro straps included in the kit to secure the 15’ CAT5e cable to the boom and mast as follows:
One strap on the boom hold the Access Point prior to extending the mast.
Two straps on the mast of the tripod once it is extended.
5) Connect the data input of the power enclosure to your network (cable not included).
6) Optional: Connect the power enclosure to AC power using an outdoor rated extension cord (not included).
RECHARGE INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Connect power enclosure to AC power using an outdoor rated extension cord for a minimum of 12 hours prior to
deployment.
2) A fully charged system will operate for approximately for 10 hours.
