GENERAL SAFETY

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of fi re, electrical shock, or injury to persons, observe the following:

a.  Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.

b.  Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power off at service panel and lock the service disconnecting the means to prevent power from being switched on

accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel.

CAUTION:

Do not depend on any switch to disconnect power supply. Always unplug the power cord or turn off and lock disconnecting means as described.

DANGER:

Do not place body parts or objects in circulator or motor openings while motor is connected to the power source.

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of fi re or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device. Do not use a three-prong to two-prong

adapter on the power cord.

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to water or rain.

1.  Read and follow all instructions, cautionary markings and make sure power source conforms to the requirement of the equipment.

2.  Avoid using extension cords. If used, be sure cord is UL rated and of proper type, gauge and length. Never operate more than one circulator from a single

extension cord.

3.  Do not kink power cord or allow it to contact oil, grease, hot surfaces, sharp objects or chemicals. Replace worn or damaged cord immediately.

WARNING:

Do not use general purpose circulators in fl ammable, explosive, chemical-laden, or wet or rainy atmospheres. Use special purpose circulators

designed for particular application. Do not attach ductwork to a circulator.

4.  In critical applications, use a suitable alarm (air switch, temperature sensor, etc.) should the circulator malfunction.

OPERATION

CAUTION:

Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffi c area and where it

will not be tripped over.

WARNING:

  Use only GFCI receptacles.

WARNING:

  Not for outdoor applications.

1.  Two-speed circulators operate by fl ipping the switch: High-Off-Low.

2.  Keep circulator free from obstructions.

MAINTENANCE

CAUTION:

To reduce the risk of injury, disconnect and lockout power source before servicing. Always unplug the power cord.

1.  Periodically clean propeller, guard, and motor when excessive dirt and particles accumulate. Allow motor suffi cient time to cool as it may be hot enough to

cause injury.

2.  Periodically check belt for wear and tightness. When replacing belt, use same type that was supplied with unit.

3.  Follow motor manufacturer’s instructions for motor lubrication.

4.  Check for unusual noises when circulator is running.

5.  Periodically inspect and tighten all bolts.

IMPORTANT:

When making repairs, use only VENCO PRODUCTS authorized parts.

IMPORTANT:

Do not force belts on or off. This may cause cords to break, leading to premature belt failure.

WARNING:

If the electrical cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a qualifi ed service representative to avoid risk.

UNPACKING

1.  Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during transit.

2.  Shipping damage claim must be fi led with carrier.

3.  Check all bolts, screw, setscrews, etc. for looseness that may have occurred during transit. Retighten as needed.
