FLIGHT
INSPECTION
Inspect
the
model
thoroughly
to
insure
no
parts
have
become
loose
or
damaged
during
the
flight.
Check
every
rotating
and
movable
part
to
ensure
they
move
smoothly.
Replace
any
loose
ball
links
and
damaged
bearings.
Use
a
punch
tool
(max.
dia.
Ø3)
through
the
small
holes
to
remove
the
angular
ball
bearings
(if
damaged).

Lubricate
metal
gears
with
high
performance
grease
every
approx.
6
flights
to
ensure
smooth
operation
for
the
next
time
you
fly.
Inspect
main
and
tail
belts
for
damage
and
replace
if
necessary.
Main
and
tail
blades
are
the
main
source
of
vibrations.
Make
sure
they
are
always
well
balanced
and
undamaged.
Inspect
the
3
tail
‐
axle’s
set
screws
M4
x
4
used
in
tail
hub
and
tail
pulley
and
make
sure
they
remain
tight.
In
the
event
of
a
crash
replace
all
the
damaged
parts,
inspect
the
main,
tail
shaft
and
spindles
and
make
sure
they
are
not
bend.
Do
not
try
to
repair
main
and
tail
blades.
Check
the
whole
model
carefully
and
inspect
all
the
wiring
for
damages.
Important
notes
‐
Warnings:
‐
Too
much
collective
pitch
will
introduce
excessive
load
to
the
drive
system
and
will
overload
the
motors
and
the
ESCs.
‐
Do
not
set
the
collective
pitch
more
than
±11.5
degrees
unless
you
have
good
collective
pitch
management
skills.
‐
Although
VELOS
880
has
been
tested
at
more
than
2000rpms
it
is
advised
not
to
exceed
1800
rpms
to
avoid
overstressing
the
airframe.
