After VeloMini is fully charged, press red button to turn on motor.

To engage the motor, pedal 2-3 times and then rotate the throttle 4, gently towards you. The VeloMini
has a lot of torque so be ready to apply the brakes until you are used to the power curve. Be ready for
wheel spin on gravel, dirt, wet pavement or on a steep hill. Do not use power in a turn until you are
used to the torque.

The VeloMini has four ways of propulsion:
1.
As a bicycle, for extended range.
1.
Pedal only without the motor turned on
2.
Pedal Assist: next best for range

Motor on pedaling and no use of throttle
1.
Motor on, pedaling and no use of throttle
3.
Throttle and pedaling combined, third best for range
4.
Throttle only. Shortest range

Press the red button to turn off motor when not in use

On hard acceleration or up hill the green light will go out even if you have a full charge. As you are
using the VeloMini the green light will eventually stay off and the yellow will be on. This shows you
have about 1/2 power remaining. Once the yellow light stays off and the red light is on, the power is
almost used and you should use motor as little as possible until you can recharge it. Always charge
the battery as soon as possible once you have run it all the way down.
