6. Important Remarks
•
All the functions have been preset and comply with the European NTR9 standard. Only open the device to
replace the batteries. Repairs should be handled by a qualified technician.
•
The transmitted signals fall within the required frequency range. Any adjustment of that range may be illegal.
•
Almost every electronic device is susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) if inadequately shielded. The
PMRSET
may interfere with TV or radio signals. In order to check this, you can activate the
PMRSET
or press the
PTT button when a TV or radio set is ON. The sound or image quality of TV sets or radios might deteriorate, but
sound and image will be restored to their normal quality after the
PMRSET
is deactivated. Take the following
measures to avoid interference : do not use the device near TV’s or equipment using radio signals. Contact your
supplier for technical support.
7. Maintenance

Handle the device gently and carefully.
•
Do not use this device in hostile environments e.g. dusty, humid and hot environments.
•
Clean the device with a soft moistened cloth. Do not use corrosives to clean the device. Battery contacts can be
wiped with a dry, lint-free cloth.
