Software installation and configuration
IMPORTANT NOTES:
•
Install the drivers and software prior to making any hardware connections!
•
Make sure you have administrator rights on your computer system when installing
drivers and software.
•
Disable all antivirus software during software installation.
•
Refer to §5 for the minimum system requirements.
This PCUSBVC2 comes with two full version software packages (Ulead® Video Studio 10.0 and
Arcsoft ShowBiz DVD2) and one trial package (Blazevideo Magic 3.0) which will expire after 3
months unless a licence key is purchased.
a) ShowBiz DVD 2
•
Insert the VELLEMAN© CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive. A window will appear:

Click [Install ShowBiz DVD 2] and follow the instructions on the screen. Select your preferred
installation language. The licence key is printed on the CD-ROM sleeve. Make sure to keep the
keys for future reference.
•
When installation is finished, start the software by double-clicking on the “Showbiz DVD2” icon on
your desktop. The following screen is shown:
•
Make sure the PCUSBVC2 device is properly connected and select [Capture, create, or edit
videos].
•
Configure the video and audio settings in the bottom part of the screen.
