All counterfeit bank notes are fluorescent. If in doubt, verify the watermark: it must be very
clear with well-defined colours. A bank note which is not too used must feel crisp and be
slightly rough on the prints. The bank note must not be limp, shiny or waxy.
ATTENTION:
This money detector has a black plastic housing and features one (
ZLUV220
) or two
(
ZLUV220/2
) blue UV lamps. Do not place the detector at eyes height to prevent eye
damage.
Each lamp has a lifetime of 2,000 to 4.000 hours.
3. Replacing a UV lamp
•
Disconnect the detector from the mains.
•
Unscrew the screws holding the lamp support.
•
Twist the lamp slightly and carefully in order to dislodge the lamp.
•
Replace the lamp with an exact type of lamp.
•
Insert the new lamp. Carefully turn the lamp to click in place.
•
Reinstall the support and fix with the screws.
