6. Operation
a. Power-On
Immediately after the power has restored, the system proceeds with auto detection and warming-up function. The
system then enters the MONITORING MODE.
b. Monitoring Mode (fig. 2)
1. Time display: system date and time.
2. Record status display: manual recording parameters.

Quality: refer to “ 7.4 Record Setup ”.

Starting to record:
Manual recording: press REC / to enter the manual recording mode. Refer to “ 7.4 Record Setup ”.
Motion detection recording: the motion detection triggers the scheduled recording only when the
variation exceeds the alarm limitation values. Refer to “ 7.4 Record Setup ”.
Continuous recording: long-term continuous recording. Refer to “ 7.4 Record Setup ”.

Stopping the recording
Press REC / to stop the manual recording only. Press MENU or PLAY / to stop all recording
modes. To resume recording:
