Replacing The Key Barrel/Lock
1.
Remove the 5 screws from the upper
battery mount
2.
Slide the upper battery mount down and
out of the frame
3.
Push the key barrel into the frame and
remove
4.
Place the new key barrel into the frame
and use the key (on the outside of the
frame) to hold in position
5.
Now insert the upper battery mount back
into the frame (whilst still holding the key
on the outside) and begin the installation
with the 2 screws that hold the key barrel
to the upper battery mount.
6.
Once the first 2 screws are in position and
holding the key barrel, install the
remaining 3 screws.
7.
Finally, tighten all 5 screws and check that
the lock works properly and firmly holds
the battery in position
