1.0. INTRODuCTION
Dear customer,
Thank you for choosing VELA Tango 400, which is certain to give you years of
enjoyable use. The user manual contains useful information on set-up,
operation, maintenance, technical data etc.
This user manual describes VELA Tango 400.
ImPORTANT
Please read this manual carefully and keep it for future reference. It must
always be readily available to the user. This user manual must always be kept
with the chair.

This chair carries the CE mark and complies with all current EU regulations.
The chair is made by

The VELA Tango 400 is designed for indoor use by people with slight
disabilities.
RECyCLINg
Many of the materials used in the chair’s construction can be recycled. Deliver the
chair to VELA or your local recycling centre.
VELA reserves the right to make changes.
1.6 VELA Tango 400 uSER´S mANuAL
ADjuSTINg SEAT HEIgHT
The height of VELA Tango 400 can be adjusted by
pressing the height adjustment handle located on the
right-hand side underneath the armrest.
The gas spring should always be replaced by a VELA
technician or other qualified person with relevant
experience.
SyNCHRONOuS SEAT AND BACk
The seat and back can be moved synchronously by
pulling out the handle. If you want to lock the chair
in a particular position, push the handle in.
To change the sensitivity of the synchronisation
function, adjust the springs using the hand screw
located under the seat.
SEAT TILT
The seat tilt is adjusted
by pulling out the synchro-
nisation handle and tilting
the seat to the desired
angle. When the desired
angle is achieved, lock the seat into position by push-
ing the handle back into place.
SEAT DEPTH
To change the seat depth, push the seat depth
button under the seat. When this button is pushed in,
you can adjust the seat depth from one position to
the next by pushing the seat either backwards or
forwards.
WHEEL LOCk
By pushing the handle in the direction of the arrow
on the right-hand side under the front edge of
the seat, the wheels of the chair can be locked or
unlocked.
