Saving Information

NOTE: The above information may be needed when calling for

Technical Support

The information contained in the window can be saved to a text file by pressing the

SAVE

bottom in the lower left corner of the window; so that it can easily be copied from

the unit, and attached to an email.

The About file is saved to the location specified.

If done with remote control software, the file will be saved to the specified
location on th

e PC’s hard drive.

To close the About This Product window, select

OK

.

Check for Upgrade

This software update notification window informs the user if there is an updated
software version available for the test unit.

How to use this feature:

1. The test unit must currently be connected to the

Internet

, or to a corporate

network that has Internet access, so it can communicate with Digital Lightwave's
server to get the requested information.

2. Select the

System

tab >

Misc

screen.

3. Select the

Check for Upgrade

button.

If the unit has the latest released software version installed, then a
message stating "Your test unit is running the latest Software Version
Available" will appear.
