The Config screen contains the following functions:

•

(Configuration Settings)

•

Traffic Stream Profile

•

Config - Set screen

(Specifically for Fibre Channel SAN testing on the Packet tab)

The

Config

>

Set

(Configuration Settings) screen allows you to define the Fibre

Channel frame parameters that will be used to generate a traffic flow or stream into the
network.

The following functions appear on the Settings screen:

Function

Description

Mode

Sets which Fibre Channel Interface rate has been selected to
test, from the MLD, OTN or SONET/SDH tab's Interface
menu.

Sets which Fibre Channel Interface rate to test, and displays
the configured Ethernet mapping rate to test from the OTN or
SONET/SDH tab's Interface menu.

Depending on the card type, selected test port, and
the currently enabled licensed-based test options, the
following rate can be displayed:

For the

MPM-100AR

card, the following Fibre Channel rates

may be available:

•

32 Gbps Fibre Channel

•

16 Gbps Fibre Channel

•

10 Gbps Fibre Channel

For the

MPM-10G

card, the following Fibre Channel rates
