Section 5.7.
Particle Filter Maintenance
This section covers maintenance to the particle filters for the K465i GaN system. It includes
system shutdown, disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of the particle filter housing.
Note:
This procedure is not applicable to As/P systems, and as such, it should not be used
with As/P systems.

and group F.
Safety Precautions and Hazard Management
Safety glasses must be worn at all times.
Caution must be exercised at all times when working around the tool. Only
trained and qualified persons should be performing these tasks.
Follow all procedures in sequence as presented herein, to reduce the
possibility of hazards.
Before exposing a used particle filter housing, all personnel within 3 meters
of the housing must wear an approved respirator and protective clothing.
Upon exposing a used particle filter housing, a fire or exothermic reaction
may occur. Notify the site safety manager and comply with all fire safety
measures.
A potential exists for fire when opening the canister housing or when
vacuuming the debris out of the filter canister. Exercise extreme caution.
