BATTERY AND CHARGER
The battery incorporates a Management System (BMS) that monitors the cell’s status and optimizes
charging to provide maximum performance and a longer lifespan.
Fully charge the battery before first use. During charging, the charger LED will be red. When the battery
is fully charged, the charger AMPER screen will be 0, meaning that the battery is ready to use.
The battery range may vary considerably depending on conditions such as the slope of the road and
speed.
If during a long ride the level of the battery charge drops to 25% of the total capacity (2 bars on the
dashboard), the battery management system can switch OFF the controller automatically during hard
acceleration at this level due to voltage drop of the battery under high load. The system will be
deactivated before a complete battery discharge occurs. Never ride the bike after the system shuts
down to avoid battery over discharge. Please charge the battery immediately.
NEVER CUT WIRES OR MODIFY ANY OF THE POWER COMPONENTS. IT CAN CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
THE BATTERY HAS A SAFETY SEAL WITH SAFETY WARNINGS. AS IT IS A POWER ELEMENT, IT CAN BE
HANDLED BY A VECTOR OFFICIAL DEALER ONLY.
IF THE SAFETY SEAL IS BROKEN IT WILL RESULT IN THE AUTOMATIC LOSS OF THE WARRANTY.
FULLY CHARGE THE BATTERY BEFORE FIRST USE.
