Car position
Enter a car position manually if required (for example for demo purposes) or if
your Navigation System shows a wrong position for a longer period of time.
In normal circumstances it is not necessary to enter the car position manually. If
sufficient GPS reception is provided (see chapter “How does VDO Navigation
work?”), the system will relocate automatically.
☞
Select “
Car position
” from the system settings menu.
☞
Select the country (if available on the map CD).
☞
Enter city and road name as described in chapter “DESTINATION INPUT”.
☞
Enter the intersection.
☞
Select “
Relocate
”.

Now you are prompted to cross the entered intersection.
☞
As soon as you reach the center of the intersection, confirm by pushing the
OK
key.

Now the system is relocated to your actual car position.

Display
For overhead mounting of the display it is possible to rotate the display
contents 180 degrees.

Select the “
Display
” option from the “
System settings
” menu.
☞
Select the desired setting according to the mounting position of the
display.

Volume
☞
Select the “
Volume
” option from the “
System settings
” menu.
:
A volume slider with the current volume setting is shown.
Adjusting the volume:
☞
Place the cursor on the volume slider.
☞
Confirm by pushing the
OK
key.
:
The volume adjustment is activated now.
☞
Adjust the desired volume level with the cursor keys

The selected volume setting is announced.

Push
OK
to store the setting.
