S/PDIF Audio Output can be used for connecting the Digital Audio Output to
an amplifier. By default the digital audio is transmitted in PCM format (Bitstream
off) for maximum compatibility with TVs.
6.1.3 Interface
„ Language
This menu allows you to choose the language for the VD i-S Menu. There
are options include English and Traditional Chinese..
„ Transparency
The level of transparency of the Menu can be set here.
„ Menu Time Out
On this interface, you can decide how much time the screen remains ON
even the Remote Control is not active or the front panel is laid idle. Options
include 0, 5 10, 15, 20 ,25 or 30 seconds.
6.1.4 Front VFD
„ Backlight
You can decide whether the backlight of the Front Panel is AlwaysOn,
AlwaysOff or only On when VD i-S is operating.
„ Backlight Standby
You can decide whether the backlight is On or Off when the VD i-S is
standing-by.
„ Time Display
You can decide whether the time display are displayed on VFD when VD i-S
is standing by.
