3.7 Setting defrost mode.

By  pressing  the 

  key  one  ore  more  times  the  defrost-mode  can  be  set,  depending  on

parameter  P  501  and    P  502.  The  LED’s  besides  the  running  hour  counter  shows  the  defrost-
mode which is used for controlling the defrost.

3.8 Starting defrost manually.

By  pressing  the 

UP

  and 

DOWN

  keys  at  the  same  time  the  defrost  can  be  started  (forced)

manually, independently to the defrost-timer.

3.9 Viewing and adjusting time.

The  upper  right  display  shows  the  time.  Adjust  the  clock  by  pushing  the

  key  for  more  than

one second. The time can now be adjusted by pushing the 

UP

 and 

DOWN

 keys. The weekday

can be adjusted by pressing once more, for longer than 1 second, the 

 key.

By  pushing  the 

ON/OFF 

key  or  if  no  key  is  touched  for  30  seconds,  the  display  returns    to  its

normal operation mode.

3.10 Viewing or resetting the pulse- and hours counters. 

The  lower  left  display  shows  the  cooling  pulses  and  the  lower  right  display  shows  the  cooling
running hours.
By pushing the 

(reset pulses) key from the cooling pulses or the  (reset hours) key from the

running  hours-counter  the  according  counter  will  be  reset  to  zero.  If  the  counters  reaches
numbers larger than ‘999' or ‘999,9', OFL(overflow) will appear in the according display.

3.11 The menu. 

The menu can be entered by pushing the 

COOL-PHASE

 key if the controller is in the pre-cool

mode or by pushing the 

STORE-PHASE

 key if the controller is in the store-mode.

To  leave  the  menu  press  the 

COOL-PHASE

  or 

STORE-PHASE

  key  or  press  no  key  for  more

than  10  seconds.  The  menu  has  the  following  items  to  select  from,  which  can  be  selected  by
pushing the 

SENS.

 key;

1. Pulses/running hours per 24 hours.

The  upper  left  display  shows  “PulS”  (Pulses)  and  the  lower  left  display  shows  the  total
amount  of  pulses  during  this  day  (started  at  0:00  hour).  The  upper  right  display  shows
“UrEn”  (Hours)  and  the  lower  right  display  shows  the  total  hours  of  the  cooling  counted
this day from 0:00 hour.
The controller stores the pulses and hour counts for one week. To see the other days of
the  week  push  the 

UP

  or 

DOWN

  keys,  the  day  LED’s  in  the  upper  right  display  shows

which day is selected from the past week.

2. Dehumidify function. 

With this menu item, it is possible to activate the dehumidify function of the controller. 
The  upper  left  display  shows  “ontV”  (Dehumidify  function)  and  the  upper  right  display
shows “ON” or “OFF” to indicate whether the function is active or not. 
When  the  humidify  function  is  activated  the  lower  right  display  shows  “cont.”,  indicating
that  this  function  stays  active  until  the  function  is  set  manually  inactive,  or  the  display
shows a countdown counter which indicates how many minutes are remaining.
To  manual  switch  the  dehumidify  function  on  or  off,  push  the 

UP

  or 

DOWN

  keys,  the

upper right display switches from “ON” to “OFF” to indicate the status. 
As the dehumidify function is activated this way, the function will continuously dehumidify.
To set the countdown counter for the dehumidify function push the 

SETP.

 key and hold it

together with the 

UP

 or 

DOWN

 key to increase or decrease the interval with 10 minutes. 

The dehumidification may also be started automatically using parameter P380 and P381.
To indicate that the controller is dehumidifying, at normal operation, all decimal dots are
blinking on the upper displays.
Dehumidifying  will  be  achieved  by  activating  the  cooling  and  heating  at  the  same  time
above  set  point.  Because  the  cooling  capacity  is  higher  than  the  heating  capacity  the
temperature will reach it’s set point slower and so the product will dry longer.
