5.3.2 Step 3 – Scan for XTi 3340/3442/3350/3452
Step 3 – Scan allows you to review your satellite transponder and DVBT settings and perform the scan (Figure
21).

3. Review your scan settings and then perform the scan as explained in Table 10Table 9:

Option Description
Scan Settings Review
Summarizes your scan settings - satellite and terrestrial:

DVBS2-Tuner 1,2 – shows the selected Satellite for Tuner 1 and
Tuner 2. The tranpsonders you chose in the previous step will
be scanned for this satellite.
To return to the
Tuners Setup pages of Tuner 1 and Tuner 2 and
change your settings, click Modify .

DVBT-Tuner 3, 4 – shows the selected Country for Tuner 3 and
Tuner 4. The channels you chose in the previous step will be
scanned for this country.
To return to the
Tuners Setup page of Tuner 3 + 4 and change your
settings, click Modify .
Estimated‎Time‎for‎Scan‎
Finish‎(Minutes)
Calculates how long it should take (in minutes) to complete the scan of the
selected satellite transponders and country channels.
Scan
Performs the scan of the select transponders and channels.
During the scan, the page is updated to show the scan progress:

The top progress bar shows how many transponders have been scanned for the selected satellite.

The bottom progress bar shows how many cables have been scanned for the selected country.
