Keep your Vax like new
IMPORTANT:
The condition of the filters affects the
performance of your machine. Please check and clean
filters periodically (depending on the level of use). For full
cleaning instructions, see page 6.

Do not use the vacuum cleaner without
all of the filters in place.

Twist cord hook to
release cord.
Plug into mains.
Adjust handle height.
Turn unit on.
IMPORTANT:
When the vacuum
cleaner is stood in the upright position
or when using the hose and tools, the
carpet height adjustment must be set to the
highest position.

Recline unit by
pressing foot on front
of unit.
NOTE:
Vax recommends that you raise the
height of the brushbar to the highest position
when using this cleaner on lino and hard
flooring due to constant rotation. Vax cannot
be held responsible for damage to these
surfaces if the customer fails to take notice
of this recommendation.

In upright position turn
height adjustment to
desired setting. High
setting for high carpet
pile and hard floors. Low
setting for low carpet pile.
