• The plug may not be fully pushed into the electrical socket. Check the fuse
in the plug if this needs replacing, always replace with a 13amp British fuse.
• The appliance has not been switched on. Go to ‘using your appliance’.
• The thermostat control dial is set too low. Gradually rotate the dial clockwise
until an audible ‘click’ is heard or select a preferred temperature on the
temperature control dial.
• The built-in overheating safety device has activated and switched
off the appliance. Unplug from the mains and allow to completely
cool down before re-trying.
• The ‘Topple Over’ device has activated, stand the appliance upright
on a flat, stable and heat resistant solid surface.
• The heat selector switch has not been activated. Go to ‘Using your
appliance’.
• The LED lights will switch off once the required temperature
has been reached.
• When the appliance is first used it may produce an odour, this is due
to the lubricant used during manufacture. This odour will disappear
after approximately 30 minutes of use.
• The 24hr timer and thermostat must be on for the turbo fan to activate. Go to
‘Using the turbo fan function’.
