Safety:
Should the heater overheat, there is an internal safety switch that will deac-
tivate the heater.
Writable with blackboard chalk
The Citara T Series has a special surface powder coating that allows the front
to be written on or painted with blackboard chalk.
Leave your family, friends or guests with great notes or pictures. You will no-
tice how impressed the people will be when they realize that the blackboard
is also a source of great warmth.
Please use only a damp sponge and ordinary water to remove the chalk
from the board. The sponge should also only be damp. Do not use any
chemical cleaning agents which could attack the surface! Clean the board
heater when it is switched off, as the surface can become around 105° C hot.
Cleaning, maintenance, service and disposal
Cleaning
Switch off and unplug the heater before cleaning it. Only clean it when it
is cool. When cleaning, use a microfibre cloth and avoid using aggressive
cleaning agents, scouring sponges or stiff brushes. Use commercially avail-
able glass cleaner. Once you have cleaned the heater, allow it to dry before
switching it on again. Never submerge the heater in water.
Maintenance
In general, the heater does not require any maintenance. It must not be
opened by unauthorised persons. If there seems to be a problem, contact
your dealer.
Service and repair
If you notice any damage or a fault with your heater, it must be checked and
